We are hosting a creative writing project that will bring together student nurses, university lecturers and people living with dementia. We have several recruitment events occurring. There is a twitter post seeking interested parties - follow @NurseTutor_Sara on Twitter.

Recruiting for people to join us.
We use the term creative writing but it is essentially creative journaling. The true content will be what ever you want to add to your journal, you might write with ink, you might create a blog, you might draw or doodle or you might take photos, you might add multi-media pressed flowers, tickets things you can add anything you want that create ideas and nurtures creativity.
The concept is that we will gather a group of people who would like to be more creative, and learn to make creative journaling a habit. I have researched and explored things that can help build self-awareness – the literature suggests that journaling and coaching can help an individual to build self-awareness this stimulates a trajectory where communication improves and the ability to engage with study skills. My dissertation on factors that impact on academic ability provides a more long winded narrative if you need help sleeping.
Can anyone join?
For this pilot it will be focussing on students nurses, university staff and people living with dementia. But if we garner enough interest we would like to offer a virtual support group and work with your on your journaling adventure.
